MIDNIGHT MAACness

(ENGL) This event is to introduce the campus community to the players and coaching staff of the men's and women's basketball team. It was just a great night! We had to stay in line for almost 2 hours- just like at a concert! Crazy! It took place on the basketball court of the campus. We got free t-shirts, there was free food and free drinks. As I said before, the men's and women's basketball team was introduced, there were the cheerleaders and the Riders dance team and many more things! I really liked it a lot. In the end I wanted to take a picture with the men's basketball team and so just went up to them and told them that we are internationals and that we would like to have a picture with all of them, so there was no problem. They are all sooooo tall! Unbelievebale! Later we went to the pub on the campus and met the girls from the sorority we live in! It was very, very funny!

(D- wieder ohne Umlaute) Dieses Ereignis ist dazu da, um die Trainer und die Spieler des Maenner und Frauen Basketballteams den Rider Studenten vorzustellen. Es war einfach nur toll! Wir mussten fast 2 Stunden anstehen- wie bei einem Konzert! Verrueckt! Es war in der Basketballhalle auf dem Campus. Wiedermal bekamen wir gratis T-Shirts, es gab was zu essen und natuerlich auch etwas zu trinken- gratis. Die Teams wurden vorgestellt, die Cheerleader und das Tanzteam der Rider Uni haben etwas aufgefuehrt und vieles, vieles mehr. Es gefiel mir sehr, sehr gut. Am Ende wollte ich natuerlich ein Foto mit dem Maenner Basketball Team haben und da sich weder Vlatka noch Maja trauten, bin ich einfach hin und hab sie gefragt ob wir ein Foto mit ihnen machen koennten- wir seien internationale Studenten. Hi Hi! Auch hier hat diese Aussage weitergeholfen ;) Spaeter gingen wir ins Pub am Campus und haben mit den Maedels von Phi Sigma Sigma a bissi weitergefeiert!

(HR- i opet bez dijakritickih znakova) Taj dogadaj je tu da se muski i zenski kosarkaski tim predstavi Rider studentima. Bilo je super! Morale smo cekati skoro 2 sata prije nego sto su nas pustili unutra! Kao kod nekakvog koncerta! I opet smo dobile besplatno majcu, besplatno hranu i pice! Predstavili su timove, bili su navijacice (cheerleader) i plesaci od Rider sveucilista. Svidjelo mi se je jako! Na kraju, kada je sve bilo gotovo, htjela sam sliku sa timom od kosarkasa- za uspomenu! Posto se ni Maja ni Vlatka nisu usudile pitati, ja sam otisla i pitala igrace dali bi se htjeli slikati s nama, posto smo mi internacionalni studenti. "Of course" je bio odgovor ;) Poslje smo otisle u pub na kampusu i tamo smo srele cure od Phi Sigme Sigme, pa smo s njima dalje slavile!
